The RXP-X 350 is the ski for riders who like to run it hard. T3-R hull, Launch Control, Ergolock R race seat, low-rise race bars. Everything on this machine is built for hard acceleration and aggressive cornering. Even so, the factory GPS limiter still decides where it tops out. Here is what that means on the RXP-X, how to remove the limit once, and when tuning is the next step.
What is new on the RXP-X 350
For model year 2027 the Rotax 1630 ACE 350 replaces the 325. It is a 1,630 cc supercharged triple with an external intercooler, a closed-loop cooling system and 350 hp. BRP calls it the most powerful production PWC engine in the industry. The Tech Package is now standard on the RXP-X, with the 10.25 inch touchscreen, BRP Premium Audio and USB. Engine Auto-Start also shows up on the feature list.
The rest is familiar: 362 kg dry (about 798 lb), a 70 liter (18.5 gal) tank, and the same hull and dimensions as 2026. New colors are Solar Orange Metallic Premium and Gulfstream Blue Premium.
Built for racing, capped from the factory
The T3-R is a deep-V fiberglass hull with racing roots. The X-Sponsons hold the ski in tight turns, and the hydraulic steering damper has three settings. Launch Control helps you put the power down cleanly off the line. The Ergolock R keeps you planted when the hull bites into a corner. Add the carbon hood and the stainless steel impeller and you have a ski that is set up for hard riding.
That is exactly where the factory limiter gets noticed. You come out of a turn, hold it wide open down the straight, and at a certain point the ski is simply not allowed to go further. That has nothing to do with the hull or the pump. The ECU sets the cap based on the GPS signal.
Removing the limit: plug in once, then unplug
The M-JET Speed Limit Remover does this without a permanent module and without touching the wiring harness:
- Plug the Speed Limit Remover into the RXP-X diagnostic connector.
- Open the M-JET SLI app. The first time, the device pairs with your ski.
- Remove the limit in the app.
- Unplug the device and leave it on shore.
If you ride hard, that last step matters most. There is no extra module hanging off the harness that can work loose while the hull slams through chop. No foreign connector in the hull, nothing to check every time you service the ski. A SCOM has to stay connected for the whole ride because it keeps altering the signal. If it loses contact, the limit is back right away.
Same power, same feel
The Speed Limit Remover is not a tune. It does not change engine output, which is also why it needs no ECU unlock. Launch Control, the iTC modes, iBR and the steering damper all work exactly as they did from the factory. You ride the same RXP-X, minus the factory cap.
After the first pairing the device is tied to your ski's VIN. On that ski you can remove the limit and turn it back on as often as you like, for example before you sell it. A second ski needs its own device.
When tuning makes sense
The Speed Limit Remover lifts the cap, but it adds no power. If the RXP-X does not pull hard enough for you out of corners or off the line, that is a job for software tuning with the M-JET FLASHER.
The 350 runs a Bosch MG1CA920 ECU. Before the first flash it needs a one-time ECU unlock. Either you ship the ECU to our location in Florida or in Germany, or you buy a replacement ECU that comes already unlocked. In that case nothing gets shipped in, and the flasher transfers the relevant data from your old ECU to the new one.
The app shows which setups are available for the RXP-X 350. The flasher reads your ECU software version automatically. If that version is not on the M-JET server yet, the tune gets built for your ski and then shows up in the app. You can flash back to stock at any time. If you want to review your runs, the Pro version adds live data and a data logger.

FAQ
Does the Speed Limit Remover need an ECU unlock on the RXP-X 350?
No. The unlock is only needed for tuning with the M-JET FLASHER. With the Speed Limit Remover the ECU stays right where it is.
Does Launch Control still work the same way?
Yes. The Speed Limit Remover only removes the speed limit. Power and riding functions stay stock.
Does this work on the Senna edition too?
Yes, the RXP-X Senna 350 is supported as well. Why the reversible approach matters even more there is covered in RXP-X Senna 350: removing the limiter the reversible way.
