2027 Sea-Doo 350: What's New According to the Spec Sheets
As soon as BRP's model year 2027 press release came out in August 2026, forums and groups were passing around lists of supposed changes. Some are right, some are copied from somewhere else, and a few are plain wrong. We put the official MY27 spec sheets next to the 2026 ones and compared them line by line. What you read here is backed by those sheets. Everything else stays out.

The engine: 25 more horsepower from the factory
The heart of the model year is the Rotax 1630 ACE 350. It replaces the 325 that powered the RXP-X, RXT-X and GTX Limited from 2024 to 2026. The 1,630 cc displacement is right there in the name of both engines. For the 350, the spec sheet lists three cylinders, a supercharger with an external intercooler, closed-loop cooling, iTC throttle control with modes and the electronic iBR for brake, neutral and reverse. BRP bills it as the strongest production PWC engine in the industry. How the engine is built and what that means for maintenance and troubleshooting is covered on its own page: Rotax 1630 ACE 350.
Engine Auto-Start is new on the list
For 2027, Engine Auto-Start shows up on the equipment lists of all four 350 models for the first time. The 2026 spec sheets don't have it. The sheets give nothing beyond the line item itself, so we won't guess at how the feature works in detail.
RXP-X: the big display is now standard
On the 2026 RXP-X 325, the 7.6 in. display was standard and the Tech Package with the 10.25 in. touchscreen, BRP Audio Premium and USB was an extra. On the RXP-X 350 the package is part of the base equipment. That also explains the weight figure people puzzled over online: 362 kg (approx. 798 lb) dry looks like a gain, but it matches the 2026 ski with the audio system exactly. Without audio, the 325 was listed at 353 kg (approx. 778 lb).
New colors
- RXP-X 350 and RXT-X 350: Solar Orange Metallic Premium (new) and Gulfstream Blue Premium
- GTX Limited 350: Mineral Blue (new)
- RXP-X Senna 350: Racing Yellow and Amazon Green
The Senna edition
Also new is the RXP-X Senna 350, the result of a one-year collaboration between Sea-Doo and the Senna Brand in honor of Ayrton Senna. There are 1,991 units worldwide. It comes with Ayrton Senna's signature, a numbered plaque, the Senna logo and quotes, a matching passenger seat and a branded cover, and the audio is BRP Platinum Audio with 2 x 80 watts. Technically it's based on the RXP-X 350 with the T3-R hull, but it carries two riders and is listed at 353 kg (approx. 778 lb) dry.
Rumors that don't hold up
The GTX Limited loses iDF
This one appears in several model year articles. The official GTX Limited 350 spec sheet still lists iDF. With iDF (Intelligent Debris-Free) you clear the pump at the push of a button when weeds or debris get caught. The system is on board for 2027.
The 350 gets a new hull
You'll read that too. According to the spec sheets, the RXP-X keeps the T3-R and the RXT-X and GTX Limited keep the ST3, with identical length, width and the same 70 l tank. The full numbers are in the specs for every 350.
Top end and pump figures
Numbers for top end, rpm or changes to the pump and impeller don't appear on any official spec sheet. Until BRP publishes them, they're estimates or individual riders' readings under unknown conditions. So we leave them out on purpose.
What stayed the same
Dimensions, tank capacity and hulls are unchanged, and so is the Bosch MG1CA920 ECU. If you're coming off a 325, you'll feel at home right away. How big the difference is in everyday riding is covered point by point in Sea-Doo 325 vs 350.
What the new model year means for tuning
For the M-JET FLASHER, the process doesn't change: the 350 models sit in the same model group as the 325s, and the one-time ECU unlock comes before the first flash. One thing is typical for a new model year, though. The ECUs ship with fresh software versions. The flasher reads the version automatically. If it isn't on the M-JET server yet, the tune is built for your ski in max. 3 business days and then shows up in the app for download. You don't have to ship anything for that.
Side note: Spark X
Outside the 350 lineup, Sea-Doo also introduced the 2027 Spark X with the 110 hp Rotax 1000 ACE. Technically it has little in common with the big supercharged skis, but it belongs to the same model year, which is why it shows up in so many roundups.
Only want to lift the GPS speed limit, with no tune and no ECU unlock? The Speed Limit Remover is compatible with every 325 and 350, plugs in briefly and doesn't have to stay on the ski.
