Yamaha WaveRunner Diagnostics: Dealer Tool or Your Own?

For a long time, fault memory, live data and service resets on Yamaha were only available through the dealer's diagnostic system. With M-JET DIAGNOSTIC you have your own tool for the same everyday jobs, with no appointment needed.

What an own tool is good for

  • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair
  • Check live data when there are problems
  • Reset the service warning after the oil change
  • View operating hours and vehicle data

Where the limits are

A diagnostic tool shows what the control unit measures and reports. Mechanical damage to pump, impeller, bearings or supercharger it only detects indirectly, for example through engine speed and intake pressure. For that, and for work with special tools, you need a specialist workshop. For everyday troubleshooting and maintenance, though, your own device is far more convenient: you read the memory before going to the workshop, arrive with concrete information and save time and follow-up questions.
