Yamaha FX SVHO and Cruiser SVHO Fault Codes: List
The FX SVHO has one of the largest control units in the range, roughly 40 to 50 messages depending on model year. M-JET DIAGNOSTIC reads them and translates them into plain text.
The most important codes
- 13 pulser coil, 15 engine temperature, 17 knock sensor, 19 battery voltage
- 23 intake air temperature, 24 camshaft, 29 intake pressure, 63 intake system
- 47 slant switch, 55 steering sensor, 65 exhaust manifold water temperature
- 51 throttle lever closed-position switch, 68 no-wake switch, 78 reverse switch (on earlier model years)
- 150 to 154 RPS sensor, 157 to 164 SCU (shifting, on newer model years)
- 112 to 145 throttle valve drive, 124 to 128 TPS, 131 to 135 APS
How to use the list
Which codes your craft knows depends on the model year; the app only shows the matching ones. On a tourer like the FX SVHO, temperatures, intake pressure and the shift system are among the first suspects. An entry alone is only the beginning: with the live values and check steps you find the cause.
Note on numbering: the codes come from the control units' diagnostic database, as the diagnostic tool reads them. Forums and manuals partly circulate different assignments, especially for older models and for codes shown on the display. When in doubt, the description in the app counts.
