Yamaha FX HO: Reset the Maintenance Warning and Check Hours

After oil change and service, the FX HO's indicator should settle down again. M-JET DIAGNOSTIC resets the maintenance and flush warning, as far as your model offers the function, and shows you the engine hours at the same time.

You do it in one go

• Carry out maintenance as described in the manual
• Select the service function in the app and reset the warning
• View total hours and hours per RPM range
• Read the fault memory as a check

Why the hours count

The hour meter in the display can deviate; the values in the control unit are more reliable. Note the reading after the service so you plan the next interval realistically. After rides in saltwater, flushing stays important even if the indicator was reset. Only reset the warning when the work was really done.
