Yamaha FX HO, Cruiser and SVHO Diagnostics (2011–2023)
The FX with the 1.8-litre engine is the brand's touring craft. M-JET DIAGNOSTIC supports FX HO, FX Cruiser HO, FX SVHO, FX Cruiser SVHO and FX Limited SVHO of model years 2011 to 2023.
What you see on the FX
- Four-cylinder with four ignition coils and four injectors for individual testing
- Fault codes for throttle valve, accelerator, temperatures, pressure and knock sensor
- On newer FX additionally RiDE, reverse and no-wake functions
- Operating hours and vehicle data
Tourer with lots of electronics
The FX has more comfort functions than a GP. Accordingly there are more switches and sensors. If reverse or no-wake do not work as usual, read the fault memory first. Often a loose connector or a damp contact is behind it. A regular check before the season start and after flushing in saltwater use is especially worthwhile on this model.
