Yamaha SuperJet 4-Stroke Won't Start: Pump, Coils, Injectors
The SuperJet cranks but the engine does not catch, or nothing happens at all. With seven components to activate, you check everything essential in minutes with M-JET DIAGNOSTIC.
The order
- Battery voltage at start
- Relays and kill switch in the switch status
- Activate the fuel pump
- Activate coils 1 to 3 and injectors 1 to 3
Interpreting results
If pump, coils and injectors respond, you look in the fault memory for camshaft (24) and pulser coil (13). If a component does not respond, it is the candidate. If voltage is low at start, the battery is the first lead. Stand-up batteries are often small and suffer from standing idle. On the fuel system: good ventilation, no ignition sources.
