Yamaha WaveRunner Component and Actuator Test

Is the ignition coil really dead or is it the wiring? With M-JET DIAGNOSTIC you activate components of your Yamaha WaveRunner one at a time and hear or see whether they respond. That saves guesswork and unnecessary spare parts.

Components you can activate

  • Ignition coils, one per cylinder
  • Injectors, one per cylinder
  • Fuel pump
  • Bypass/stepper motor
  • YPVS, on the models that have it

Model dependent, and with care

How many ignition coils and injectors the app offers depends on the engine. A three-cylinder shows three, a four-cylinder four. Newer models partly offer fewer tests; the app only shows what your vehicle can do. When testing the fuel pump and injection you work on the fuel system: ensure good ventilation, no ignition sources and a stable position. If you are unsure, leave it to a specialist workshop.
