Yamaha GP1300R: YPVS Fault (Code 100) Check
On the GP1300R the control unit reports an irregular signal from the YPVS with code 100. That is a case for the component test: M-JET DIAGNOSTIC activates the adjustment and you see whether it moves.
What you do
- Read the fault memory and check whether code 100 is active
- Activate the YPVS in the component test
- Check connector and wire of the adjustment
- Clear the memory and cross-check with a test ride
Classification
If the adjustment responds in the test, the actuator can basically move, and the cause is often in the contact or in a sporadic signal problem. If the movement does not occur, dirt, wiring or the actuator itself is in focus. The test gives you this distinction before you order a part. Only carry out work on the drive when the craft is secure.
