Yamaha JetBlaster: Check Throttle Response and Throttle Valve
The JetBlaster's throttle valve is controlled electronically. If the engine responds with delay to the throttle, M-JET DIAGNOSTIC shows you the values of APS, TPS and ETV.
What you compare
- APS1/APS2 and throttle lever closed-position switch (code 51)
- TPS1/TPS2 and valve position
- Codes 112 to 145 (ETV), 124 to 128 (TPS), 131 to 135 (APS)
- After cleaning or replacement: teach the throttle valve
Plausibility
The sensors deliver double signals that must match. If one deviates, the control unit protects itself. In the live values you see which signal falls out of line. Then check connector and voltage.
