Yamaha JetBlaster Won't Start: Relays, Pump and Cylinders

The JetBlaster does nothing at the start or cranks without ignition. M-JET DIAGNOSTIC runs through the chain from battery to cylinder.

Check chain

• Battery voltage during the start attempt
• Relays and kill switch in the switch status
• Fault memory for camshaft (24) and pulser coil (13)
• Activate pump, coils 1–3 and injectors 1–3

Typical findings

If pump, coils and injectors respond, look in the fault memory for camshaft and pulser coil. If a component does not respond, it is the candidate, and you first check connector and wire. On a young vehicle, contact faults or a weak battery are more likely than component damage. On the fuel system: good ventilation, no ignition sources.
