Yamaha JetBlaster: Temperature Warning, Check Code 15 and 65
If the JetBlaster reports a temperature, the question is: real heat or false message? M-JET DIAGNOSTIC shows you the values side by side.
What you compare
- Code 15: engine temperature sensor
- Code 65: exhaust manifold water temperature
- Curve at idle, planing and full load
- Battery voltage as a side check
Evaluation
An even rise under load points to too little cooling water: check inlet, pump and hoses. If a single value jumps, its sensor or wire is suspect. That helps you choose the right approach. On real overheating do not ride on.
