Yamaha WaveRunner Steering Sensor, Reverse and No-Wake Faults

Reverse, no-wake mode and steering sensor are comfort functions that quickly stand out when faulty. With M-JET DIAGNOSTIC you see whether the control unit reports a switch or sensor as conspicuous.

What you find in the memory

• Steering sensor out of specification
• Reverse switch with an irregular signal
• No-wake mode and cruise switch with an irregular signal
• SCU faults on models with RiDE

Check switches in real time

In the live data you see the state of the switches. Operate the switch on the handlebar and watch whether the value in the app changes. If it does not respond or only unreliably, it is usually the contact, connector or the switch itself. For SCU faults in connection with RiDE, SCU initial learning may be needed after replacement. First check all connections for moisture and corrosion.
