Yamaha SuperJet After Capsizing: Engine Won't Start Again
After a fall the SuperJet sometimes will not start again. First the manual's instructions for after capsizing apply, then M-JET DIAGNOSTIC helps with the electrical side.
What you check
- Fault memory for code 47 (slant switch)
- Slant switch status in the live data
- Battery voltage and kill switch
- Activate ignition coils, injectors and pump individually
Slant switch and water
The slant switch shuts the engine off when capsizing. If it stays stuck in the tilted position afterwards or reports implausible values, the engine does not start. Water at connectors is the second typical cause. Check connectors for moisture before replacing components. If there is water in the engine or intake path, the craft must be treated according to the manual before you start.
